Default Mayor Of Kingstown seems to be popular but how does it survive?

I have never figured out why Jeremy Renner was given a second show in the form of Mayor Of Kingstown when he already was doing Hawkeye for Disney+ and what it seems like to me is that the reason why Mayor Of Kingtown got a third season was because it is popular for Paramount+. I think Jeremy Renner wants to be king of Paramount+ and the main reason why they renewed Mayor Of Kingstown Season 3 was because I think Paramount+ was afraid that if anything happened to Jeremy Renner while he was recovering from his accident the show would go belly up. But I cannot see how Mayor Of Kingstown is still surviving because when my mom and I saw a clip of it we found Mayor Of Kingstown very unappealing. But it sure has made Jeremy Renner a huge star for Paramount+ next to Anson Mount of Star Trek Strange New Worlds and I secretly think we will see Jeremy Renner do more shows for Paramount+ due to Mayor Of Kingstown's popularity

I also cannot figure out how Mayor Of Kingstown is getting so much hype and the third season hasn't debuted yet and I think Paramount+ is trying to make it the second highest rated show next to Star Trek Strange New Worlds. I remember seeing part of Mayor Of Kingstown once and as I mentioned in my opening post it was very unappealing. I think the only reason Mayor Of Kingstown became a surprise hit and they expect Season 3 to be a strong winner is because of Jeremy Renner and if you look up on Youtube anything on Mayor Of Kingstown you'll see TONS of Jeremy Renner interviews and no interviews for the other stars so I think Jeremy Renner is gonna be the crown prince of Paramount+ next to Anson Mount. And I can bet a movie will be made of this show as well

I think the main reason why Paramount+ thinks Mayor Of Kingstown is a strong winner is because of Jeremy Renner being the star and it seems that when you put Jeremy Renner as the lead in any show the show is bound to get scores of ratings. But I think when Paramount+ first announced Mayor Of Kingstown I think the reason why they put Jeremy Renner as the star was so he could promote Paramount+ and before Jeremy Renner Paramount+ focused on Patrick Stewart and Anson Mount as their top celebrities and they thought with Mayor Of Kingstown Jeremy Renner could easily expand his TV career further and do other shows. But when Jeremy had his accident Paramount+ feared that Mayor Of Kingstown would be cancelled without the main star of the show. But I won't be surprised if Season 4 is filmed because I just don't see what makes this show a huge success
