Chico, I think! He was endearing. Ed, I think! Gotta love a grumpy old man with a heart of gold. I usually can't come up with one fave and here it's the case again. I loved how Chico and Ed had that synergy. Without Chico I, there wasn't a real foil.

Hmm, how would it've been if things were switched and it was Chico and no man?

My favorite character was Raul.He was a smart mouthed kid,but he had a good heart deep down and that is why he was the best.

i'll have to go with 2
ed, just a funny grumpy old man
chico (of corse) smart funny kind hearted guy that did seem to care for elders.

but only when the 2 of them were together was when the real majic occured. ed, louis and della, just didn't have the same kick without chico. he really was the "glue" that held it all together.
