"Days" Recasting: Meet the New Tate Black
by Stephanie Sloane March 31, 2024 On April 5, daytime newcomer Leo Howard (Why Women Kill, Legacies) will assume the role of "Days of our Lives’" Tate Black from Jamie Martin Mann, who left the soap to go to college full time, TV Insider can exclusively reveal. Now if they'd only recast his mother "Theresa" (that, or get rid of her completely). Emily O'Brien is ridiculously miscast in that role. Between the cheesy blonde wig and that silly so-called American accent she does, it's like something out of a bad SNL skit. It's way past time for Terror-esa's crimes to be exposed so she can be sent packing.
