Howdy! I must admit it's been awhile since I've seen an episode of Happy Days. I mostly came here because I just ADORE the animated Dungeons and Dragons show and Donny Most is in it. His character Eric is just too hilarious!
I even watched EdTv just to see what ole Ralph looks like now. Now, admittedly, I'm a tad bit lazy (glances over at the intimidating size of the episode list stage left) but this one scene of Happy Days has been plaguing my mind for years and I'd only seen a little bit of it and wonder if you good folks could help a gal out. Seems Ritchie is in a coma or something and I think I remember Fonz sneaking into his hospital room via the window. What episode is this? It's been driving me nuts and I remembered being depressed throughout the whole rest of the show. What had happened or am I just completely halluscinating? ------------------ "Not a chance, horn-head! Put up your dukes! Go ahead, take your best shot! Let me see what you’ve got! Only one of us is gonna survive this fight, and it’s not gonna be ME!.......Waitaminnit, that’s not right." Donny Most as Eric in Dungeons & Dragons |

The episode you're referring to, is the one where Richie learns to ride a motorcycle, and has a terrible accident. That episode is called RICHIE ALMOST DIES

It looks to me like Fonzie is saying a prayer for his best friend Ritchie. It's very moving & difficult to watch without getting involved emotionally. The thumbs up by Fonzie to God is as cool as he ever got. I wonder if Henry Winkler enjoyed this episode, since it gave him a chance to really get into Fonzie's character. They both had great sensitivity.
