Default Were Most and Howard good friends off the set since they both left in 1980?

I always wondered were Donny Most and Ron Howard good friends in real life since they left Happy Days at the sametime? Does anyone know?

They both left the show at the same time because thats when the contracts expired--neither one chose to renew it. Yes, they were ALL friends, as they all said on TV interviews and magazines. The real backstage fights were on Laverne & Shirley.

I believe everyone had gotten a 6 year contract prior to Happy Days. So Don and Ron were the only 2 who chose not to renew it.

Well, He Was Allways Dumb, And Was Hanging Around Mr. C All The Time, And Making Mistakes, I Wish They All Would Have Stayed Till The Final Episode

Maybe i will look for that this time when TV LAND shows the 80-81 season and after with potsie being a idiot. It would seem like the potsie character would be kind of pointless with his friends gone.
