I watched the 48 hour marathon of Chico and The Man. I was so happy to see it come to TVLand. I too was moved by seeing it again as I use to watch it with sister who passed away in 1990 so it brought many feelings to surface. We stopped watching the show after Freddie Prinze died. The show wasn't the same after he died and Jack Albertson didn't have the same chemistry as he did with Prinze. My sister and I also found it hard to watch with the Freddie Prinze credits gone.
Thank you TVLand! |

I agree with you 100% the show and even Jack were not the same when Freddie died...they grew to be almost as close as father and son and that kind of chemistry cannot and should not be replaced.

I agree with Joy. The love that was shown together I found was a real bond with Jack and Freddie. They worked well together and everyone could see it on the set as well on TV.
