Back in the 90's when PM Dawn debuted with The Bliss Album in 1991 and had a hit with the song Set Adrift On Memory Bliss I never understood how PM Dawn became popular? Was it because their sound was unique in rap/hip-hop or was the combination of rapping and singing a new trend for rap and PM Dawn wanted to join in that popular trend? Because it seems that the two biggest hits other than Set Adrift On Memory Bliss were I'd Die Without You and Looking Through Patient Eyes were popular and I think Looking Through Patient Eyes was more of a rap ballad and when I have listened to that song I seem to think that they sampled George Michael's hit Father Figure in the song because it sounds like it. I also can't figure out why Backstreet Boys covered Set Adrift On Memory Bliss on their debut album which proves that PM Dawn had a big fanbase
