I remember buying my very first Point Of Grace album Life Love And Other Mysteries and when I listened to the album I could see why many people dubbed them the Christian version of Wilson Phillips because they sounded a lot like Wilson Phillips and when they started out in the 90's Point Of Grace was headed toward the pop direction like Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith were in Christian music. When they released the I Choose You album it appeared to have a rock sound and I thought it was odd that they were stepping away from their Wilson Phillips-like image. But starting with the album How You Live it began their country sound and Point Of Grace has continued with this country sound ever since. Was this because Point Of Grace always wanted to crossover to country music? But what's shocking is you never hear Point Of Grace on any country radio stations and I think they switched to country to gain a more wider audience
