Did the show Cheers or any of it's cast members ever win an award?
Since Cheers was on the air for 11 years, i was wondering did the show ever win a award or did any of it's cast members win an award?

Tons of them...in fact getting thirteen Emmy nominations in 1983 helped save the then low-rated show from cancellation, along with support from the powers that be at the network...

ted won 3 times for best lead actor in a comedy series. i think he took 1 emmy and 2 golden globe

Yes Cheers has 117 emmy nominations total, which is a record. It also won 28 emmys as well, wich makes it the second most emmy winning show of all time, behind Mary Tyler Moore show.
