In the 90's Breyer's came up with a interesting way to promote their ice cream in their commercials. What did they do? You might ask yourself? Get a famous celebrity to appear in their commercials and the celebrity they chose was none other than Broadway actress Bernadette Peters. I don't really know how Bernadette Peters got to be chosen as spokesman for Breyer's but her first commercial aired in 1992 and talked about how much Bernadette Peters LOVES Breyer's Ice Cream and she continued to be Breyer's spokesman until 1994. But her commercials debuted a new commercial catchphrase "Yes Yes Yes". But you gotta admit Bernadette Peters had a lot of fun doing these commercials. How Bernadette Peters became a spokeswoman for Breyer's Ice Cream is a mystery because the way I see it Bernadette Peters I think wanted to do these commercials was so that she would gain more star power. Because when you get the general picture Bernadette Peters is very famous for doing other commercials and I think Breyer's Ice Cream wanted to make Bernadette Peters a big star and I wonder how much money Bernadette Peters got for doing these Breyer's Ice Cream commercials? But they seemed to be big in the 90's
