What is The Major TikTok Attraction/Addiction????

My prime radio is doing a segment on the Addiction to TikTok, and what I know and it's very little is:




It's owned by the Chinese media company Douyin. TikTok's main selling point is that it features built-in recording and editing capabilities that make it easy for content creators to quickly record, edit, and post video content on the platform–and have them go viral when done right. May 19, 2022


Talking to my friend he says the platform used by the Chinese children and others is mostly for education purposes. I don't know if that is true, but whatever it is Chinese can have it.

And then I've heard this years ago, many people actually take their device to bed with them.

Do many here "live on Tik Tok?" Like my friend just said it's another BullSh***T piece of junk in our world. Our pathetic/sad people are just that...

TikTok is very popular. But I have no interest in ever joining it.

I know someone who lies in bed and looks at all the funny stuff on there. From all you read it's not good to go to bed and look at your computer or phone.

I have no interest it; I've never even seen it.

Most videos are only 15 seconds long and there's an easy swipe-scrolling feature to advance to the next video. It's easy to get immersed in this cycle for a while. Also, a lot of videos rely heavily on incorporating existing songs or soundbites, so there's immediate familiarity to draw you in further.

I became aware of TikTok in late 2018. There's some genuinely creative stuff on there, but also a lot of cringe. I lost interest and uninstalled it around 2019 but I have friends who still use it.
