Three's A Crowd "not the Three's Company spinoff" - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

In the 70's the game show Three's A Crowd made it's debut and became a minor hit. Though some people might've called Three's A Crowd a ripoff of The Dating Game Three's A Crowd was played differently. How Three's A Crowd was played was centered on a contestant hoping to learn more about his/her friend or coworker from work and seemed to be a decent game show. Although cancelled later in the 70's Three's A Crowd would not be revived until the 2000's when Game Show Network launched The All-New Three's A Crowd hosted by the late Alan Thicke and played just like the 70's version. I wonder if a new version of Three's A Crowd would work today if it would be like the previous versions?

It wasn't a minor hit, it was a major disaster! The show ran less than 5 months and received nothing but negative press.
