1991 Alvin And The Chipmunks Promotions
In 1991 Alvin And The Chipmunks made their first Target commercials to honor the release of exclusive merchandise based on Alvin And The Chipmunks. The first commercial promoted a special Alvin plush that could be bought with a purchase. The second commercial promoted Target's exclusive Chipmunks children's clothing line and the third commercial promoted Target's Photo deals as Alvin And The Chipmunks develop their vacation photos at Target. With The Alvin And The Chipmunks movies a hit I was surprised to see these commercials and didn't know they existed

Hi, Bestie! I am always amazed at AATCM. They seem like they never die out. Even though I thought their last few movies were flops, they keep making more! Do you know why?
