Default I think NICK AT NITE should re edit the episodes

I really think that Nick at Nite should re edit the episodes of Three's Company. Three minutes may not be a lot of time, but its enough time if part of the plot is taken out of the episode. An example would be the missing footage from HAIR TODAY GONE TOMORROW where Jack gets fitted for the moustache. Also, I think that the tags during season five shouldn't have been cut either. Suzanne Somers was still a part of the cast, and her scenes shouldn't be cut.

Default I Agree!

Beatlemoe,

I majorly agree - I added a post on the very episode you mentioned and how they cut out the ENTIRE "Lane's Hair Salon" sequence...a hilarious scene. N@N is a butcher! If you have the rights to a show, show it for what it is, don't do it half-a**!

Do you think TNN will cut out the Lane's Hair Salon Scene?

Default TNN? I doubt it.

I think TNN cares just as much as N@N does. I had written N@N about their butchering and their reasoning was that it's more expensive now to air shows so they need more commercials. Plus, TNN puts that REALLY annoying logo bar at the bottom of the screen. Is nothing sacred any more???

Did you see the Lane's Hair salon scene on the original ABC broadcast?

Default Lane's Hair Salon

Yes, it was on the original broadcast - I have it on tape from when they aired 3's Company on Channel 11 in the late 80's.

I know what you mean-It comes on 3am on Nick at Nite, and 11am and 11:30am-while i'm at work. Horrible time slots for one of thefunniest comedies of all time.

TNN and N@N show pretty much the exact same version. Both have the same dialouge.

Here's another reason that nick@nite should reedit the episodes. A standard episode runs 25 minutes. Judging by the two commercial cuts, they are about two and a halfminutes apiece. But we only get 22 minutes of an episode. Why can't N@N just breeze into the next episode. My gosh, the show has way too many sponsors and enough money. It's just my Opinion...
