my dog's missing - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

On saturday my Dad went to work around 6 or 7am and decided to leave our dog in his yard because he thought since he had put wood around the whole fence and thought it was secure enough that the dog, Ralph, wouldn't be able to get out. He came home from work later around 7pm and didn't see Ralph when he came in. He wasn't worried right away because he usually left the garage door open for him in case it rains. Once my dad found out he wasn't there he spent time looking around the neighbourhood
and asked some people if they had seen Ralph. They had seen him two hours ago and my dad called the pound to see if he was picked up. He wasn't, but they are looking for him now, along with a bunch of people my dad works with. Last time Ralph was seen by people was on the outskirts of the city. It's probably unlikely we will see him again, but we're putting up some lost posters around the city.

I'm so sorry about your dog. How about putting an ad in the paper? That could get a lot of responses. I've seen it done before in my town. I'm sorry about your dog.

I hope you find your dog. I know how it feels to lose a pet. Until recently, I had 3 cats (a mother, father, and son). Unfortunately, the father and son passed away less than a week apart back in March, so only the mother is left (she's sitting on my lap as I type this).

I'll pray for you and ask the Lord for the safe return of your dog. Please keep us posted.

Good news. My dad e-mailed me today and told me that Ralph was found. He was in the backlane next door. The neighbour across the street noticed the people in the crack house on the corner had him. Today, he noticed Ralph in his back lane and nabbed him and came over and told my dad about it. He'll need a
trip to the vet. He has a serious case of dandruff and diarrhea but otherwise he's in fine shape. Thanks everyone for your concerns and I hope all is well with your pets.
