muppet babies
even thought it might of been or seemed like a "let's make more money of these characters.." show it actually was pretty good and in some ways they seemed different from the usual muppets. well, besides them being younger |

Muppet Babies by far. They rock! I've only seen Baby Looney Tunes once.

I never understood why the Muppet Babies were a cartoon. The Muppets were the Alternative to cartoons. It should have live action, like all of the other Muppet shows.
On the original topice, I never liked any prequil cartoon shows. |

Okay...this reply probably isn't going to win me any friends (see my thoughts on "Lois and Clark" on the "Superman(All Series)" Board), but, really, do we NEED another series that show beloved characters palling around when they were babies?
I mean, I realize that there aren't enough good cartoons for the really young kids, but taking inconclastic characters like Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck and making then childhood playmates who learn pro-social messages strikes me as totally cynical and cheapens the memory of these great characters even further than before. It's like Time-Warner is bound and determined to crush whatever rebel spirit remains with these characters for all time and in full view of the whole wide world...all the while smiling in our faces as they clean out our wallets.(besides, why is Tweety still depicted as an infant in this cartoon? Wouldn't it make more sense to not have Tweety, or, at the very least, depict him as an egg? But I digress...) But, to answer your question, I liked the "Muppet Babies" (never mind the fact that making an animated series out of a puppet show is just plain redundant!!), because, even as babies, Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie, et al., are STILL the same rowdy icons as babies as they are as adults(?), and besides, they had Barbara Billingsley!! But that's just me...

I went to the Muppet Babies page on the tvtome website, and I discovered that they did not use the original voices of the Muppets on Muppet Babies.
Muppet Babies did not use the voices of Jim Hensen, Frank Oz, and other people that have voiced the Muppets on the Muppet show and in the movies. Which sucks. It is like they used a bunch of scabs to voice the Muppets, it is not the real Muppets without the real voices. (Howie Mandel was a Muppet Baby voice over) |

I like Both shows. I also like Tiny Toons too.
I know for a fact that Dave Coulier of Full House fame did the voice of Baby Animal. My favorite Muppet baby is a tie between Baby Kermit, and Baby Rowlf. In Baby Looney Tunes, I like Baby Bugs, Baby Lola, Baby Tweety, and Baby Taz. I want to see Baby Roadrunner and Baby Porky featured more.
