Do any of you think that old cartoon's such as Tom and Jerry or Ren and Stimpy are more violent than up todate cartoons. Such as The Simpsons or pokemon.
Also what type of effects do you think these cartoons would have on young children? |

I do think a lot of the older cartoons were more violent. However, I don't think they really do much damage to young children. I used to watch a lot of Tom & Jerry and Bugs Bunny and it never made me want to hit my brother with a frying pan or something like that.
