One of my favourite TC episodes is when Jack & Janet think Cindy is pregnant.
I have seen this episode so many times. Yet, not long ago I saw a scene that I don't think I have ever seen before. At the end of the episode Chrissy calls and Janet talks to her. I'm guessing that this scene was Suzanne Somers final TC appearance. How many tag scenes were there? I know that only one tag scene is shown in the middle of the episode which is part of the plot. The other tag scenes are shown at the end and usually they are cut. |

The next episode was "Night of the Ropers" and that was the Ropers last episode. Season 5 is an underrated season. A lot of funny episodes that season. |

I recently just watched all of Chrissy's phone call's from Fresno. What a weird situation and crazy That even happened. Suzanne not being allowed anywhere the set or the cast. A very toxic thing. Richard Kline has even said how Suzanne was treated was handled horribly.

She was in breach of contract. They could have fired her right away. She did sue them but I don't think it went anywhere. ABC executives thought it was too weird to have her disappear from the show. So they came up with the idea she could appear but not on the set. It definitely could be seen as punishment and was a poor idea IMHO. Suzanne ran into the producer of Threes Company in an elevator during this time and she begged him she would drop her suit and if everything could go back to normal with her old salary. He pretty much told her to drop dead. They were making an example of her.

I have another question.
Joyce missed one episode, which from these boards I learned was because of a salary dispute. I was under the impression that both Joyce & Suzanne were making the same salary. Was Joyce making less at that time? |

I think Joyce and Suzanne were paid approximately the same. They had different contracts like they all did. I think her raise was something her or her agent worked into her contract. |
