I have been reading all the messages on the
board and I enjoy your comments. I enjoy Chico and the Man because of the character Freddie played. Chico was always positive and very kind. He truly loved Ed Brown. Chico was a good role model and always saw the best in people. The comedy was as good as any I have seen. Jack & Freddie were incrediable together. I think there was a love between them off the show as well as on the show. They had a wonderful relationship and I enjoy watching that. We cannot speculate about Freddie and why he took his own life, only he knows the answer. It's not for us to judge. By playing Chico and bringing him to life each week Freddie was able to give the world a positive gift. Not all of us are given that opportunity. Thanks Freddie! Macca |

Amen, Macca, amen. Your sentiments are accurate, thoughtful and very touching. Thank-you for a fine summation that contains healing for those of us who grieve the loss of this outstanding actor, comedian, and individual.
