After Front Office Sports reported Wednesday that Amazon was paying $120 million for its exclusive playoff game — up from the $100 million Peacock paid for January's first-ever streaming playoff game — CNBC reported that the actual figure is $150 million.

The money is too great, the NFL will soon add an additional wildcard team and eliminate the bye-team in each conference. The feckless wonders in Congress should be able to agree on one thing, go to the NFL and explain to the owners heavy sanctions will be taken if all the postseason games are not offered on an over the air outlet. Threaten to break-up the monopoly and force the NFL to play by the same rules as every other business in the live entertainment industry.
