Smile Touched and saddened-Thanks TV Land!!

Wow!! I found myself on the edge of tears watching as many episodes as I could last weekend. I was 12 when the unfortunate took place. I tend to live in the past a little and these reruns were good for my soul. I instantly felt like a kid in PJ's watching and waiting to go to bed. From the opening of the theme song to the last credits I was glued to the set once again. I even wonder who and where all the people in the intro are today. My only regret is that I did not tape all of them because I was in the Adirondack mountians (NY) all weekend and had no way to record them in the small snowmobiling cottage. None of the people with me could understand why I stayed in the cottage for the whole day saturday!! They didnt understand......

Sad

Yeah Chris, I feel the same way. I watched it all weekend on TV Land. I remember when Freddie killed himself and how everybody(including myself) was saddened. Being Half Puerto Rican/Half Russian & jewish, I could relate with Freddie's ethnic side and thought he was a very gifted & handsome man who should've never fallen into the hands of drugs. I am also seeing a therapist but mine would NEVER prescribe qualudes to his patients. After watching the Chico episodes this weekend, I feel deeply hurt that the world lost Freddie. God bless you Freddie.

I was also very happy (and sad at the same time)to see "Chico and The Man" on last weekend.
I was only 13 when Freddie left us, and as many others my age, remember hearing about it as if it was yesterday. Funny the things that stick with us.
I live in the Adirondacks, but was able to tape the episodes. I agree it's fun to watch-but the difference in Freddie between the beginning episodes and the last few he taped is pretty sad. He was a very talented young man- having to grow up very fast in a very stressful world of instant stardom. So sad that it cost him so dearly.
Thanks to TVLand, my kids can finally see who I talk about when I mention "Freddie Prinze Jr.'s Dad". And even better-that they thought the show was fun to watch!

Default Thank you

Thank you that is exactly why we need to keep pressing TV land and as many channels as we can to try and persuade them to air our favorite show CATM again. For all the fans Freddie still has out there, for Jr. fans so they can see THE ORIGINAL, and so that we can honor Freddie's desire to be remembered.

I'd love to see the show. All I've seen is the 3 episodes TVL ran this past year (first episode, christmas, and another one). TVL obviously still has the rights, at least I'd imagine they do, because it's still on their show pages.

I think it would be good on Hallmark, like was suggested earlier on this board. I could see it there.
