For sure! She also had good instincts about the Golden Girls. It had run its course and was getting dumb. Go out on top and dont do a stupid season where you then get cancelled. Maude was good but it had run its course. When she ran for Congress and her husband was having an affair it all got too crazy to keep track of. All In The Family was also running out of steam too. Both had good runs and made for good TV.

Yes Maude seem to fall off the last 2 seasons, I enjoyed it more the 1st two seasons
