Default Question about the disappearance of Cindy at the Los Angeles Zoo?

I know that the producers made a decision to drop Cindy from the show but if she was in the opening credits at the Los Angeles Zoo during the 81-82 season, why would the opening credits for the following season still be at the same place with all the other cast members wearing the same clothes they had on when Cindy was in the opening creditsthe previous year?. So if that's the case, when Chrissy left, they should have still done the opening credits at the Santa Monica pier with Jack in between Janet and Terri and have Cindy, Larry and Mr. Furley on the merry go round. Also Terri would have on the same outfit chrissy had on-LOL!!!

If you notice the seasons 7 and 8 ending credits is different than season 6. They re-shot it, with the same clothes. The opening was re-shot only for the opening title when they come to the zoo. But in syndication, you see the cast coming up with Jenilee and they just cut Jenilee's credit out. The ending credits in syndication did have the re-shot credits.

Check the video clips for Season 6 opening and ending, and Season 7 orginal and syndicated opening and ending on my Multimedia section on my website. So you know what I mean...

Yeah i know that the ending credits for season 7 was different because they were on this truck riding around thezoo-but i still would like to know why jack, janet, terri, larry and mr. furley still had on the same clothes they wore when they did the opening credits for season 6. Plus in the opening credits of season 7-janet hair was longer but her clothes were the same-that was a little odd to me.

In season 6 they were on a truck riding around the zoo too, with Jenilee!
They re-shot that because Jenilee was out from the show and they wanted to keep the zoo theme, rather than change everything, so they wore the same outfits.

I guess if i was Cindy, i would have felt a little bad since the opening credits were exctly the same except for her not being in between Larry and Mr. Furley. I know if she saw the new opening credits for season 7 at the time, she might have gotten a little teary eyed-but probably would not have hurt as much if they were at another location.

Some episodes in 7 and 8 show the new opening credits without Jenilee (ex. Jack Goes the Distance and Jack's Tatoo).

What does that mean? That is the point i'm making, Cindy was no longer in the opening credits in season 7 and 8 with the cast being at the same place and having on the same clothes. The purpose of posting this message was to let everyone know that what the producers did in my opinion was wrong. So i had a little trouble understaning your message

Default Other differences in the closing credits

While it's understandable why the closing credits were re-shot without Cindy, I don't know why the general sequence also had to change significantly. Most notably, in the truck ride with Cindy (season 6), there is a very memorable scene in which Jack almost falls out of the bus. But this was no longer in seasons 7 and 8. Why was this scene removed? I guess John Ritter was too scared to pull that "stunt" again.

I guess it was fair that there was at least some compensation for that cut scene. In seasons 7 and 8, as Jack and the girls are rounding a corner while walking out of the zoo, they nearly trip. In season 6, they walked around the corner with no problems.

One last change is that I believe the girls are on opposite sides of Jack in season 6 compared to 7 and 8. In other words, if I am correct, Jack is holding Terri in his right arm in season 6, but is holding Janet in his right arm in seasons 7 and 8.

I think John Ritter really almost Fell and they decided to leave it in because it was part of his character. I don't think that was planned.
