Question Dancers?

are there any dancers here? i'm in dance class, in school. it's my pe class. i've never danced before and it's like not me. i'm not the "graceful" kind of body, the one that just floats and stuff. it's kinda annoying too. but, anyway, the teacher's a bitch and plus there's 70 ppl. in the class and 40 of them are beginners and that really makes her made. we do jazz dancing though-boring. i was thinking of trying out for the salsa number for the enf of the school year show. *shrugs* so, anyone take dance? ballet, jazz, whatever.

When I was little I did ballet and tap...but I don't dance anymore. I stink at dancing, haha...I probably look like a cow when I dance.

I used to take tap and ballet when I was really young, and then I took jazz and lyrical for many years, but I quit a year and a half ago because I didn't have time for it. I'm thinking of starting again though because I have found that I really miss it a lot mre than I thought I would. Even without the classes I still dance to the radio all the time (only when I'm in my room or no one's looking though, I seem to be much better that way, lol.)

I take dance. I've been dancing since I was 5, this is my 9th year. I'm taking jazz this year...but so far:
5-6: Combo (Tap, Ballet)
6-7: Acro 1
7-8: Acro 2
8-9: Acro 3
9-10: Jazz 1 (I wasn't allowed to take this class till I was 10, but they let me a year early)
10-11: Jazz 2
11-12: Jazz 2 (yes, they kept the same name, but we did move up, my dance place is screwed)
12-13: Jazz 3
13-14 (this year): Jazz 3 (same deal as when I was 11.)

And, I'm learning some break dance moves, but that's from friends, I was doing it in class, and teaching ppl and my teacher was like, "So, do you breakdance?" and I was like, "Not really...I only do a few moves" and he started talking bout how they had a break dance teacher there a few years ago. Maybe my teacher knows how to do the worm...hmmmmmmm

I took tap and ballet 1st throo 4th grade. I got tired of it. But I guess I was pretty good. My and one of my friends were always the ones in the front and center.

wow- our competition/tour expenses werent that bad- we had this thing w/ other studios where we'd stay at their studio when we were in the area and theyd stay at ours so that cut out the hotel expenses and stuff. Only the tours and comps got longer and longer and soon i was missing so much school and had NO LIFE. So i dropped company.
Also I got hurt a few times- got dropped in pas de deux and twisted my ankle up and hurt my shoulder, broke several toes and just messed up my feet so bad for awhile. I was always the smallest and ended up off the ground a lot.

Oh I always got hurt, even in class lol. I was doing an Arebesque and I didn't realize the wall was behind me and boom- my foot went up and I sliced my heel open on something sharp in the wall. Then I was doing some Chasses and I wasn't exactly spotting, and I ran into my friend.
