Hawkeye and Margaret have a lot of chemistry throughout 11 seasons! They make a great couple!

Personally, I'm glad these two never made a full-time love connection...I think it actually makes their relationship more intimate and meaningful (and less cliche)

I just went there and read what you said....I agree completely. I think one episode that showed the tension really well was C*A*V*E, but that's just one of the numerous ones....I really loved when she got drunk and hit on Trapper...that always makes me laugh!

i don't think they would have made it as a couple i mean like it said i think hawkeye would have made an alright husband or whatever but it just wasn't meant to be hawkeye was just too imature and margerat well was just more serious! i guess

I just hope they kept in touch with one another....Hawkeye did bring out the best in Margaret...

I honestly don't think it was meant to be. Hawkeye and Mararet do have good chemestry but not good enough for marriage.

Considering the passionate kiss they shared in the series finale "Goodbye, Farewell, Amen," I think they both had a mutual attraction for one another throughout the series which never went away after brief little "one night stand" in season six.

Ultimatly, i think they were too differnet to make it work.
