Cool

Yeah, I'm watching Chico and the Man right now, and the memories are flooding back. It's astounding to me in retrospect that the show was continued after Prinze's suicide. I have zero memory of how the shocking loss of "Chico" was handled on the show, but I do remember a sad scene with the "man." It'll be interesting to see that episode again.

I'm glad to see Freddie Prinze getting exposure again. The "Freddie Prinze, Jr" generation should get a hoot seeing how talented and charasmatic his father was.

In the 70's I never gave "Chico and the Man" much thought, I never really watched it. Today I was surfing through the channels and came upon TVLand, I thought "hey maybe I'll watch this, and see what all the hype in the 70's was about", and I must say I'm impressed. "Chico and the Man" was a great show. I will continue to watch this throughout the weekend.

It really is sad, what happened to Freddie Prinze, he was such a talented actor and comedian.

Those enjoying the show I'm glad, it was my favorite show during it's original run after Sanford And Son on Friday nights.
