Default Unrealistic

The show is very unrealistic. No Dad cares that much about his kids. And, do all kids in America act so stuck up like the two in this show?

Plus, how long can a show last when the premise is about being a parent of teen-agers.

And did anyone else notice that the "hot daughter" hasn't been shown on camera yet without making some weird face. How hot is she if she needs to hide behind unfunny faces?

Why do shows have to be realistic? There is no law or anything saying it has to be. And from the ratings for the premire it seems not everyone has to have their shows realistic.

And who cares how she looks? It's her acting that really counts.

Do you understand that you are watching a TV SHOW?! Of course it's going to be unrealistic at times! I'm not even going to begin to name off unrealistic shows that were/are immensely popular.

As long as it's funny and entertaining, people will watch it. There have been countless shows with the family premise. Who's The Boss lasted 8 great seasons, and it was about an adult taking care of children. It never got old, it stayed great in quality, and it is a classic show.

Red face

Let me tell you.......... It does have some truth in it.

If I had a daughter with a thong on I'd have a fit too.

A lot of parents really are strict about rules and things like that with there kids, The show isn't that realistic but its more believeable than all those goodygoody family shows.

jesus christ, Geekzilla, why are you complaining? There is no law that says all TV shows have to be realistic.

Default unrealistic??

actually this show is one of the more realistic shows on tv. you said that no dad cares that much about there kids. and as much as i hate it my dad does he seriously interrogates anyone i bring home and is always around asking questions about my day.

even the teenage girls are pretty realistic. yeah the older one is a lil extreme of a ditzy teenager but there are some out there like that. the other one is pretty accurate as a common teenage girl in most cases.

though i do admit when i'm watching the show i'm not pulling it apart piece by piece to analyze it but i watch it for the .

I like the show, just as it is, I wouldn't want to change it, I think its fine, just as un-real-istic as it is. It doesn't matter if its unreal or real, what counts is how well they deliver the plot lines and acting.

To me the oldest daughter is the only one who is stuck up. Her character really bothers me-she hasno respect at all

Exclamation Unrealistic? HAH!

No dad cares that much about his kids? Obviously you've never had a good-looking teenage daughter with a bunch of boys hound-doggin' her all the time!

I don't really care much for the show, but the premise is definitely NOT unrealistic, in my opinion!
