Are you sure about that? Is this a first run syndication thing? If it is, I think I may remember it being aired. I know WOR did air it first run and aired reruns in 1989 at 11pm then early 1991 at 9:30am, then moved it to 10:30am.

WWOR used to air it and the Chicago's local Channel 9 in Chicago aired It's a Living but not the cable channel WGN which is also based in Chicago.

The WGN that's carried by Cable Providers has slightly different schedules than the local channel. That's why The Golden Girls was seen on the local channel version of WGN and not seen on the WGN cable version back in the mid-90's.

It's like there's two versions of WGN (cable/local).

Actually, it funny you should mention that. When I was little, I used to try and fool my brothers into thinking that It's a Living really did air on WGN by taking my WWOR airings and adding WGN commercials to them. I used to want to see this program on WGN. I do remember back in 1989 other shows being put onto the schedule for instance, "Abbot and Costello" aired at 7pm instead of the Golden Girls. They did make an error one time and did not cover the Golden Girls and I wound up seeing an episode. Bewitched aired at 7:30pm and they messed up with the covering up of Benson which really aired locally, I have seen the same happen with Perfect Strangers and Full House. "these shows come on WGN 9?" I though to myself. I would get frustrated because I couldn't see them. WWOR the same thing, Perfect Strangers would be starting and then interuppted with "Delta House" (The Show) but when calling my relatives in NYC they would be getting those airings of shows like Perfect Strangers and 227 and AMEN. Gosh I would hate that. I would see the promos, 227 and AMEN coming this fall and then some stupid cop show was listed in my TV section of the paper.

BTW, How long did it air and what time did it come on? Can someone get back to me with that?

I've seen the uncommon happen in the land of Television. It could be a longshot possibilty. Example: AMEN returned to TBS after four and a half years.

I remember watching It's a Living on WGN on Saturday Afternoons and it was on WGN along w/One Big Family Starring the late Danny Thomas, Charles in Charge and Mama's Family as well as the short lived What a Country!

I missed "It's a living" on the channel but do remember the other shows you mentioned on the channel.
