Is the animated movie Kiki's Delivery Service based on a book of the same name?
I am a fan of the animated movie Kiki's Delivery Service and when I've seen it it says that it's based on a book called Witch's Delivery Service that was a very popular children's book in Japan and I would like to know if it is true? I never knew that Hizao Mirazaki movies were based on books and another thing I learned was that after Buena Vista Home Video bought the English rights to Kiki's Delivery Service and released it on video in 1998 the Kiki's Delivery Service book was gonna be released in English but never happened
