Alec Musser, best known for starring in "All My Children" as Del Henry from 2005-2007, has died. He was 50.

The soap star’s fiancée, Paige Press, confirmed the news to Deadline. Press took to social media to pay tribute to Musser, posting a series of pictures on her Instagram Stories.

“RIP to the love of my life. @alecmusser I will never stop loving you,” read a post by Press with magazine cutouts of Musser. “My heart is so broken.”

Press said Musser died in his Del Mar home but did not disclose details of the cause of his death.

Musser landed his role on "All My Children" after becoming the winner of SOAPnet’s "I Wanna be a Soap Star" Season 2.

Alec Musser Cause of Death Revealed

Alec Musser‘s official cause of death has been revealed. The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office has determined the actor died by suicide, with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest. He was 50.

The soap star’s fiancée, Paige Press, last saw Musser alive the night before his death at their Del Mar home on January 12, according to a coroner’s office press release.

She found Musser “seated and slumped forward on the bathroom floor” on the morning of January 13. “She noted a firearm near him and an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest and called 911,” the release said. “Paramedics and law enforcement responded and confirmed the death.”
