Hi,

My mom talks fondly of show that was on for one season in the 60s, it was about these people that were in space, but they were cavemen or something, she thought it was funny, but it got canceled. I want to know if anyone out there has any idea what it might would be. Please let me know.

It sounds like "It's About Time". It starred Imogene Coca and Joe E Ross. It was in the 1966-67 season.
Astronauts went through a time warp and landed in caveman time. The astronauts ran into funny cavepeople in this different world. Halfway through the season they repaired their spaceship and got back to present time taking along the funny caveman family. So the plot changed to the cave-people's adjustment to the 20th century (which I liked better).
But it got cancelled after one season.
