Mae Questel's famous ScotTowels commercials
You may know Mae Questel as the original Betty Boop voice actress and as the wacky yet funny Aunt Bethany in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation but a little known fact about Mae Questel was that she did commercials and was best known for being the spokeswoman for ScotTowels and her commercials debuted circa 1970 and I as a mega fan of Mae Questel as Aunt Bethany didn't even know these commercials existed. But I wonder how Scott chose her to promote ScotTowels? Mae was indeed very funny in these commercials and Scott must've gave her a huge salary for doing these commercials. These commercials ran until "I think" 1980 but if you enjoy Mae Questel's work check these commercials out
