Korbel's famous slogan "The Champagne's Not Korbel"
In 1995 Korbel Champagne introduced a new slogan for their commercials called the famous "The Champagne's Not Korbel" slogan. The first commercial to debut this slogan debuted on New Year's Eve 1994 and begins with a crowd of people eagerly awaiting the start of the New Year when the famous ball drops and just before the ball finally drops into the New Year someone shouts "The Champagne's Not Korbel" And the ball drops back up. Korbel did other commercials with this slogan but this commercial was the first to honor New Year's Eve. With New Year's Eve tomorrow this commercial is a perfect fit to all New Year's Eve commercials
