He has the Law and Order franchise and One Chicago on NBC and 3 FBI shows on CBS. Seven are law eforcement shows. The original L&O and SVU are the oldest at 23 and 25 years respectively. We know that these shows can't be on the air forever. Do we need to see these cops fight crime in wheelchairs later on? Benson and Stabler are getting too old and OC is terrible. Back in the 90s, Star Trek had 4 different shows on the air and they each ran 7 seasons. Enterprise ran 4 seasons but they all had great runs that don't last longer than they should have. When these shows go off the air one by one, I hope its' SVU because it's had a good run and it's tired and I wished the original had stayed off the air because it offers nothing new. There is just too much of Dick Wolf and I wish that the networks let other producers bring in new, fresh shows.
