An I Love Lucy New Year’s Day:

All: “HAPPY NEW YEAR!”

Lucy (to the camera, yells drunkenly): “HELLO MOM! GEE, ITS HOT IN HERE! TIME TO TAAAAAAAAKE OFF MY CLOTHES.”

(Lucy tries to. Ricky tries to stop her. Cops come and arrest her.)

(The next day, the Ricardos and Ricky see Lucy in jail.)

Ricky: “Well Lucy, what do you have to say for yourself.”

(Ricky mutters in Spanish.)

Lucy: “I sure embarrassed you.”

Ricky (sarcastically): “Oh no. You just made yourself look like a fool.”

Fred: “That’s foolish even for you.”

Lucy: “I know.”

(A cop comes by and hands Ricky a newspaper.)

Ricky (reading): “‘Ricky Ricardo no longer allowed to drop by in Times Square due to his wife.’”

(Ricky looks at Lucy.)

Lucy: “Lock me up officer.”

(Lucy closes the door.)
