Default I saw an uncut episode

I actually saw an uncut episode of the Golden Girls on Lifetime two months ago! They showed the original "A-Mid Winter Nights Dream" in its full hour version, including the theme song from season 7! I wish I had taped it.

When you say rarely seen opening credits you mean the medium length version used on NBC from 1989-1992. Correct? And for Rue's credit they use the scene from Sophia's Choice where she's talking about having her breasts enlarged and for Estelle's credit they use a scene from High Anxiety where she's telling a story at the kitchen table. Right? If so, this opening was used when the series was in syndication from 1990-1996. It came to Lifetime in 1997.

Does anyone know if Lifetime is airing Golden Moments, We're Outta Here, The Presidents Coming! The Presidents Coming!, Never Yell Fire in a Crowded Retirement Home, The Monkey Show, One Flew Out of the Cuckoo's Nest in their original 1 hour format?

Default yes they are

i have been watching and watching. they HAVE been airing them in both types(1 hour and 2 parts). check tvguide.com/listing and search for the golden girls. when the list comes up, look for the episode title without part 1 and conclusion, etc... when you click the link to the episode, it will say 30 minutes but it is really the hour length format. they have already aired:
glden moments
the president is coming! the pres. is coming!(THIS FRIDAY AT 9:30AM!!!!!!!)
never yell fire in a crowded retirement home(SUNDAY THE 29TH AT 1AM!!!!!!!!!!!!)
midwinter nights dream
&
the final episode.
i have them all listed above except the ones that haven't aired yet. the only ones i need are monkey show and we're outta here.

if you need them contact me

Well, if you know when these episodes are going to air (date and time), please post them to the board. I try to keep up with them all but it's darn near impossible.

Thanks for the update!!

Ok, so on Thursday at 6:00, Lifetime is airing the final episode and it just has the 6:00 listing--not the 6 and 6:30 and it doesn't say part 1 and conclusion (it still lists it as 30 minutes). Will this be the UNCUT version then?

A couple weeks ago, GG was on Saturday night at like 1 am and my roommate alerted me to it. I thought that was an odd time, and I turned it on but didn't watch it because I had already seen the final episode numerous times. Then the next day, one of my friends IM'ed me and he said it was the original version, and there was a lot of stuff he had never seen before, including an entire scene that had been cut. He said it was pretty cool.

Katie,
I'm assuming the finale will be uncut if it says just 6:00pm. I'm definately recording it. I've never seen the actual NBC version of the finale, so I'll know when I see the opening credits. They usually do air the hour long episodes with different opening credits than the normal "Lifetime version" (lol) but at times they break up the hour long episodes into two parts. For the most part (From season one) the episodes are *almost* uncut and usually a long scene towards the end is cut (I have many season 1 episodes uncut from NBC, and have *tried* to compare).
