Default R.I.P. Tom Smothers

I just saw this. https://www.cnn.com/2023/12/27/enter...ath/index.html

He was such a great person for many reasons. Besides being a comic genius and pretty good musician he did all he could to tell the truth about the world around us. He clashed regularly with network heads when it came to controversial issues. Plus he was a master of the YoYo. https://youtu.be/_81L5EbU6KQ?si=qZI-9QRAc6GhO6Bg

Here's a link to the sitcom he and Dick had. https://youtu.be/xntMwk34uCo?si=YMicKqoHmM7fZWZy

RIP Mr. Smothers. I never got to see him and his brother’s variety show, but I liked his work on one of The Family sketches from The Carol Burnett Show.

Here's a link to an unaired episode which may have been the last straw for CBS

When I was a kid, Nick at Nite, aired "The Smothers Brothers Show" aka "My Brother the Angel" and I adored it. I don't think I would have gotten into classic tv shows if it weren't for that one. RIP Tommy.

Though The Smothers Brothers were best known for the controversial variety show from 1967 to 1969, there was one series where they didn't play brothers. It was a short-lived adventure series titled Fitz and Bones where Tom played an investigative reporter and Dick portrayed his cameraman. It ran for only four episodes in the fall of 1981.

I would like to see it. The best I could do is the opening credits.
