Default I can't believe this

Fraiser beat MTM's Emmy record. No offense to anyone who likes Fraiser but I think that is one of the most boring shows ever and it doesn't deserve half the Emmys it has. And I'm not just saying this because I'm biased to MTM (Okay, maybe I am). I tried to like Fraiser but it just didn't hold my attention. MTM had the record for the longest time. Now, I know Emmys don't *actually* mean anything, but it's going to be so strange when, in 30 years or so, they do an Inside TVLand on Fraiser and the intro says that it has the most Emmys won. I just hope Fraiser doesn't win anymore next week. When is that show going to go off the air anyway?

I like Fraiser, but I like MTM even more. But Fraiser has also been on longer than MTM and so it has had more opportunities to garner more emmys. If I were you I would take comfort at the fact that it took Fraiser ten years to achieve what MTM did in seven.

Good point buddylove. I am actually a *huge* Frasier fan, but will try not to take offense 1fan. While I am really sad that TMTMS lost it's title, I can't think of a show I'd rather have take it over than Frasier. It's a show that you have to stick with, I thought it was boring too, but then I actually sat down and watched an episode and fell in love. Anyway, it's set for 11 seasons and it's starting it's 10th this year so it doesn't have much longer. And you can also take comfort in the fact that Mary has said that Frasier is one of her favourite shows as well so hopefully she wasn't too disappointed.

Another point is that, if you compare Frasier's first seven years to Mary's seven years, Mary won more Emmy's! So if you think about it that way, it took Frasier longer to do what Mary did in 7 years.
