Default Family Feud ; I dont have a good feeling about it.

Today was the first episode of Family feud with Richard Karn and hes not a bad host, but its on at 11:00 am in the morning, lined up with Price is right which i dont think Family Feud can keep up in the ratings. i hate to say it but i wouldnt be suprised if it lasts less then a year. What are your thoughts?

My thought...

If Louie's version somehow lasted 3 years, this one has to last longer, because it's a hell of a lot better.

Except that they still have that dumb single, single, single, triple crap. I hate that.

But did y'all see that RK stayed on the stage after the show! That I liked. RD did that, RC did that....HA...apparently your name had to start with an R to host this show!

Something to keep in mind is that it's not on against The Price is Right all over the country, just in your area (and possibly a few others) since it's syndicated.
I think/hope it will last at least a few more seasons.

The only thing i liked about louies version, other than my like for the show itself, was the stupid things louie would say before a commercial break, using stuff from the question. i would laugh so hard at how stupid it was. Richard Karn is a great host. i only see 2 episodes with him but hes great. he seems to be into the contestents a little more. i dont know what do you think?
whats that singles singles triple thing your talking about dawsonsgirl?

Default It's been so long.....

I like how they did the Dumb Answer trophy on Louie's version. I'm not sure if they did that with Richard or Ray's version. It's been so long since I've seen either version, so I can't remember.

The rounds go single points, single points, single points, triple points.

Richard and Ray's versions were more single, single, single, double, triple or s,s,d,d,t.

I don't think it's fair for a family to win without getting 300 points.

I never saw it. They make fun of them, but no awards.

Yeah, like here in LA it airs at 6:30 PM against CBS, NBC, and ABC's nightly nat'l news.

Then it's followed by Pyramid and Hollywood Squares.

You notice a good chunk of that time is used up by the host? Louie always needed it because he couldn't read worth a damn, and both he and RK ALWAYS read the beginning..."Name a city in California."

Guys....you don't need what's in bold! It's a given that they want the contestant to name something. Just say, "A city in California." Richard Dawson did it, Ray Combs did it.

BTW, the 20/25 second thing started in 1994 during Dawson's return.

I noticed that about Louie stumbling over words. He would start it all over again and that took up valuable time too. Then on some episodes if you ran out of time, Louie would ask the question again and kind of give you a second chance. I suppose that was a good idea if it was Louie that messed up reading the question, but it wouldn't be right if he did read it correctly and you just passed on the question. Anybody get what I'm saying?

Yeah. If you pass and time runs out, tough.
