Books based on the show - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Guys, I know that some of you have read 2 books based on CIC show. Sorry for an odd question6 but what kind of books are they? I mean, are they just a retelling of all the episodes or something more? I just haven't read any of them, but I wish I could.

I've only read the Pembroke one from 1984. It's written on about a 3rd-4th grade level, and it pretty much tells the story of Charles going to college, meeting Buddy, and then retells the whole first episode, word for word. They usually have them on ebay to buy, so you can check that out!

I have both of them too. The 2nd book starts with the first Powell episode and then goes into other stuff that was never covered in the tv series. I sort of liked the first one better than the second one though.

They are an easy read and worth it if you are a CIC fan.
