Mr. Potter on It's a Wonderful Life. While Ben was easily irritable and would complain about those getting in the way of his business, Andy could reason with him. Mr. Potter though, had no moral scruples whatsoever and was happiest when most of Bedford Falls lived in his slums.

Ben Weaver (Will Wright), Mayor Pike (Dick Elliott) and Emma Brand/Emma Watson (Cheerio Meredith) died during the the run of TAGS and Floyd Lawson (Howard McNear) died during the run of Mayberry RFD. Was there anyone else from TAGS who died during that time frame?

Actually, I think Howard McNear passed away well before the start of Mayberry RFD, as Emmet's Fix It shop replaced the barber shop during the last seasons of the AGS.
