Remember The Ronco Record Vac commercial?

Surely you knew Ron Popeil as Ronco's founder but I must admit some of Ronco's merchandise was pretty funny and so was the commercials. One of the oddest inventions Ronco invented was The Ronco Record Vac a vacuum cleaner designed for cleaning records. The commercial is pretty silly when they tell you how records can get dusty after being played but when you stuck your record in the vacuum it actually cleaned it so well. My mom thought this commercial was funny when she saw it with me and actually owned one as a teen. Now if only they invented one just for cleaning CDs today
