My Mom passed away last night - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

My Mom who recently turned 95 passed away peacefully last night. She had been in assisted living the past 2 years suffering with Dementia. She would fall a lot and had broken many bones and needed round the clock care and assistance. Earlier in the week her system started shutting down and was bedridden but kept comfortable with morphine. She was under Hospice care.

I haven't any recent pictures of Mom with her family but here is a picture from way back Christmas 1987. Going from left to right is my grandma,Me, sister Teresa, Mom and sister Leah.

Thank you everyone! Your thoughts and wishes are appreciated.My Mom was living in Wisconsin with my sister until she had to go to assisted living. So the funeral service will be live streamed online which is great because the rest of our large family all live in Michigan and many of us couldn't make it.

Marlene , so sorry about your Mothers passing ! Many prayers to you, your siblings and all your family ! She was a wonderful women and lead a very good life knowing what a sweet, wonderful Daughter ( you) she raised !

It is a hard time losing a parent esp.so near Christmas

, but she was/is beloved and is with the Lord now and your Dad and all her relatives and friends in heaven!
