Henson, Danielle Brooks, and Phylicia Pearl Mpasi from “The Color Purple” movie to the show. Producer Oprah Winfrey joins the cast as she recalls interviewing Jennifer on her own show when she was promoting “Dreamgirls.” Fantasia and Hudson reflect on their “American Idol” journey, plus Danielle Brooks talks about stepping into Jennifer’s shoes on Broadway. The new musical adaptation of “The Color Purple” will open in theaters on December 25.
