Xfinity Is a Major Pain with Emails - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I have not been able to sign into my Comcast email since last night. Before the box comes up to enter my password, those idiots say as part of routine security I need to change my password and the regular password box still won't come. I do not trust clicking on the update password line as that could be a virus. It has only happened on my mom's computer, same thing happened with her email account. She finally got it back but then lost it again. Yesterday while at my apartment I could sign into email fine, will see if I still can when I get back there tomorrow.

Here it's their stupid internet going down on weekends. You know, that wonderful gig speed stuff they're always advertising.

Back on my home computer, I still get the reset password nonsense. Screw you Comcast!

No wonder my desktop had become sluggish with my connection cutting out. I'd been going ape***** running cleaners, defragging, wiping drives, doing system restore & recovery, downloading updates, running a duplicate finder... And all along the issue was slow net speed...!

I still haven't decided what to do about the extra $5 per month charge on auto payments I'll incur if I don't switch from credit card to bank checking/savings pay. I actually tried to make the change but Xfinity told me the routing number was invalid.

I try to avoid any dealing with Comcast, I use my free AOL email account which has unlimited storage of messages.

While not exactly related to E-mail issues, this past year I have had problems related to receiving Comcast's cable signal. This has happened not once but four times this year. The issues have been fixed only for them to reoccur.

Comcast/Xfinity had a massive data breach in October. It's probably a good idea to change your password if you are using it elsewhere.
