Default What would you like to have seen in a 10th season finale? Had it happened

Perhaps one of Jethro's crazy inventions actually works and he sells it makes even more money. I mean he DID get the truck to FLY, we can't even do that today... The idea that he could rig a propeller to even work is something most people couldn't do, much less lift the whole truck off the ground. I'm thinking if anyone had seen the truck leave the ground they would be very interested lol

Elly finally meets a husband and gets married, possibly Jethro meets a woman as well.

Jed and Granny finally move back to the Hills where they are happiest, and give Elly and Jethro the mansion plus most of the money.

Miss Hathaway finally meets the man of her dreams, and/or gets a promotion, perhaps Mr Drysdale gets arrested for criminal activity and Miss Hathaway becomes president of the bank... ANYWAY, I'd like to see Miss Hathaway finally get something good and the respect she deserves

As for Mr Drysdale, as I said, maybe he goes to jail after years of fraudulent activity has been discovered, OR if you want a happier ending, maybe he finally amends his ways and turns around, tho I just can't see that happening

I would like to have seen Mrs. Drysdale come back. Also, a revisit with the Fenwick's. More stories that centered around Beverly Hills and not traveling to other locations. I do like the idea for a final episode of Jed and Granny going back to the hills. I think Elly marrying a vet would be a good idea as well. Jethro just needs to be Jethro. Maybe a little smarter like the 1st season.

Miss Jane reunites Wally Cox on a bird watching expedition, and they fall in love. He proposes, or maybe she proposes, and they wed at a bird sanctuary.

Granny's mixing up a batch of spring tonic out by the cement pond, and she adds a wrong new ingredient--the whole thing explodes, and sends a gusher of pool water onto Mrs. Drysdale, who's outside smelling the lilacs in her back yard.

Mrs. Drysdale knows the guy who owns the wrestling arena, and he gives her the Boston Strong Girl's number. Mrs. Drysdale contacts her and pays her to go over and stomp Granny. Granny wrestles her again near the pool, and throws her over the fence and into the woods below.

That is one thing I never understood about Granny and her strength... so apparently she can beat up a professional wrestler and also a MALE KARATE EXPERT... But when Granny is being unruly and Jed orders Jethro to pick her up and carry her out of the room, she seems pretty dang helpless, she will kick and slap but to no avail.. Is she really just holding back because, even though she's mad she doesn't really wanna hurt Jethro? lol It just seems like anyone who could take down a karate expert who can chop a CAR in half, could handle just about anyone lol

Yeah, there's definitely some inconsistency going on. If she's holding back at times, it's usually when Jed has ordered Jethro to carry her or whatever. I think it's more likely she is holding back because she doesn't want to disobey Jed. Jed has an almost Svengali-like hold over the family, they usually obey him without question. Probably Granny goes against his wishes more than anyone, then Jethro, and I'm not sure I remember Elly ever disobeying him. Honor Thy Father, I guess.

It's funny because Jethro is supposed to be a massively strong brute, but both of the women can beat him up. Except in the cases with Granny that you noted.

I know originally Granny was to be Jed's mother, but they switched it to mother-in-law, but being his mother would have made HER head of the family. I often wonder how it would be if Granny had been the absolute LEADER lol I imagine a lot more feuding lol
