1993 El Pollo Loco commercial with Paul Rodriguez
Perhaps you may have seen comedian Paul Rodriguez doing stand-up comedy shows and trying his hand at being a game show host by hosting a short-lived revival of The Newlywed Game in the 90's but what few people don't know about Paul Rodriguez is that he did commercials. In 1993 Paul Rodriguez became the spokesman for El Pollo Loco by appearing in what seems to be his lone commercial for the restaurant. The commercial featured Paul discussing his favorite foods to eat at El Pollo Loco and El Pollo Loco was sure smart to choose him as their spokesman and I wondered why Paul Rodriguez never did another El Pollo Loco commercial again
