1993 marked the anniversary of the holiday classic film It's A Wonderful Life and to honor it's success Target decided to use It's A Wonderful Life in their new commercial for Christmas 1993. Not only was It's A Wonderful Life used for the commercial but a special song and slogan was created exclusively for Target and was featured in the commercial as well. And who exactly did Target choose to perform this special song? None other than country stars Trisha Yearwood and Vince Gill and the song was titled Another Angel Gets It's Wings. There was two versions of this commercial and the song itself is alright. Target also released a music video that was featured as a bonus on the It's A Wonderful Life Target Edition VHS tape and you could also get the song as a cassette single when you bought either Trisha Yearwood's The Song Remembers When album or Vince Gill's first Christmas album Let There Be Peace On Earth at a special price.
