I went to their suggestion forums and suggested that they add Silver Spoons to their lineup.

Yes they ran about 5-8 episodes. Me and Mr T, Twelve Angry Kids, The Great Computer Caper, The Most Beautiful Girl in the World, Menudo Madness, Beauties and the Beasts, Head over Heels and Rick Moves Out. Wow, I can't believe I remember them all. I am getting as bad as Judy. ha ha
I believe those are the only ones that I have on tape and unfortunately they all have commercials. Anyway, maybe one day we can get them back out there!

Ah man! When I was little --- it was a good show and all, probably wouldnt watch it now, but that kid had all those coin-op arcade machines in the house. I would watch just for that! I wanted those soo bad - perfect way to decorate a home, you know.
Well, i had this fantasy -- back then, before we had stuff like game boy advances and whatnot, they used to make mini table top versions of those coin-op machines. Looked just like them, they were so precious. I decided that if I had one of each, my room would be my own personal mini-arcade and would rule! Of course, they were $50 each, so I never asked for one. Even though I was little, I felt it wasn't good to ask for something that expensive, especially a lot of them, so I never got one. Those things are real collectible now. ![]() They need to bring that show back -- you are a genius. |

I think that TVLand's primary focus are sitcoms from the 50s-70s!
Hopefully the might venture into 80's sitcoms in the near future. It would very cool to watch, "Facts Of Life," "ALF," "Silver Spoons," and "Small Wonder" back on TV! Can you guys please recommend Silver Spoons to this station?... if "Silver Spoons" gives them success, other stations might follow the trend. Here's the link... www.kdoctv.net/contact_us.html |
