Default The Full House Family thought Joey would be HAPPY after they implied he was stupid?:/

So, Joey makes a HUGE mistake and buys a car for DJ's 16th birthday from some random old lady. She doesn't give him a bill of sale, telling him she'd mail it to him. DJ is excited to get the car but her excitement turns to concern when a cop comes to the house and informs the Full House Family that Joey accidentally bought a stolen car! The Cops questions the Full House Family on why Joey, a grown man paid for a car in cash and didn't get the bill of sale. The Full House Family was like,"It's because Joey is naive and didn't know any better. " Rebecca says something like,"Joey is good hearted and would never rip anyone off, so he'd never expect to be ripped off."

The Cops does a search of Joey's room and finds out he REALLY is like a child in an Adult's body and doesn't arrest him. She does say she will be taking the stolen car though. She leaves and the Full House Family celebrates that Joey is not getting arrested. Joey has a troubled look and the Full House Family asked him why he isn't HAPPY and he replies something like,"DJ's brand new car that I bought for her is stolen and being already taken away and the Family thinks I'm a joke! Why would I be happy?"

I can't believe that the Full House Family thought Joey would be happy when they implied he was stupid. I wouldn't be happy either.

The thing that I hated about that episode is that we never do find out if the woman who sold Joey the car is ever found.

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. The good thing is that Joey did have two moments of triumph during that same season and that was when he won the hockey game against that stonewall jerk from his past and then of course him getting close to the lady that he worked for at the radio station then named Alison Axle Rod.

Joey should have been more grateful. Buying a stolen car even being unaware of it can lead to a felony charge in some areas. If he wanted to be taken seriously, he shouldn't act like such a man-child to begin with.

^^^ Right me if I am wrong but isn't being a man child as you call it the very thing that kept him from being arrested.

God bless you always!!!

It's also what caused him to purchase a stolen car in an obvious scam, though.

I would have loved to have seen Joey get his money back, maybe have all the other Adults chip in and give Joey his money back and Joey, learning his lesson going to an DEALERSHIP and buying the same model of the car that was stolen and him getting the bill of sale.
